About this Event
BuDu Racing, llc is working with Ridge Cyclesport to put this event on in Quincy. Fast and fun desert course! Mix of singletrack and doubletrack with short climbs and descents! Enjoy beautiful views of Eastern WA geology as the course meanders through two coulees and past several lakes and waterfalls and along huge palisades! We are starting the event at 11am so that people can wake up and drive over, if they do not want to get lodging closer to Quincy. We are very excited for this event and are considering including this venue next year in the series.
This is NOT part of the West Side Mtn Bike Series this year. We are giving 10 series points to each person who attends this event and is part of the series.
We will be donating to the Wenatchee Valley DEVO youth cycling club proceeds from this event.
The Department of Fish and Wild Life are partnering with us in this event as well.

Registration Information
Registration times on event day
Registration will open at 9:30am the morning of the event. You must register by 15 minutes before your Category begins (see Course Information and Maps for Category Start Times). EVERYONE must check in, whether you registered online or have a pass. If you do not check in, you are not considered a participant and may be disqualified.

We will use the same bike number plates that are being used for the 2020 West Side Mtn Bike Series.

Refund Policy
- Once you have registered and start riding the course, you are part of the event, NO refunds will be issued once you start the event.
- If you have pre-registered and need to request a transfer please send an email to Info@BuDuRacing.com at least 24 hours before the start of the event.
BuDu Racing, LLC reserves the right to cancel an event due to issues beyond their control, such as something weather related. BuDu Racing, LLC will do what they can to accommodate each person who has pre-registered by allowing a transfer to another event, when appropriate.
Parking and misc
Parking and staging are at the end of Ancient Lake Road outside Quincy, WA and just minutes from I90. Please parallel park along east side of Ancient Lake Rd.

This year it will be your responsibility to know your lap count, as there may be different categories riding at the same time
Please remember that courses are tentative and may be adjusted on race morning.
The lap count is a courtesy, not a guarantee. Course conditions can impact this on either side of the time frame.
Course Closure of 1:30pmThis year we are posting a course closure time. This mainly only impact Cat 2 riders. If you are not able to finish the course by 1:15, you may want to consider entering the Cat 3 event. |
Note for Cat 1 Riders
In the past we have always pulled riders after the first finisher has completed the course. For some riders this meant they were finishing down a lap, we will allow Cat 1 riders to finish on their 2nd lap if they choose, and will be place accordingly.

- Cat 3 (Beginner) = relatively new to MTB Racing
- Cat 2 (Sport) = rides comfortably w/ speed
- Cat 1 (Expert) = Accomplished at MTB
- Single Speed = riding a bike with one gear
- Clydesdale = Men over 210 lbs
- Fat Tire - Men (tire should be 26 x 4' wide or wider)
Self Seeding Categories, includes Cat 3 Age Group and Clydesdale, Cat 2 OPEN, Age Group, Clydesdale, Fat Tire and Single Speed and Cat 1 OPEN, Age Group, Single Speed and Clydesdale. Age group divisions do not apply to Collegiate, Clydesdale or Single Speed. Medals are given out at each event 3 deep and for the Series Ending Awards, it is 5 Deep. | |

We will be taking $1 from each registration and adding that to a pool for the series ending payout the bigger the numbers, the bigger the payout. The promoter reserves the right to change categories, places, and prize list based on participation. While this is not a USCF/NORBA event, rules will be enforced. This includes wearing a HELMET at ALL times when on your bike. |
Lapped Riders
If a participant is lapped at any time by the lead rider, you will finish on the same lap as the leader. On the final results it will indicate you are one lap down.
