BuDu Racing, LLC is proud to pledge a portion of the registration fees to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly, and can be fatal. Until a cure is found, people with type 1 diabetes have to test their blood sugar and give themselves insulin, every day of their lives. And even with that intensive care, insulin is not a cure for diabetes, nor does it prevent its eventual and devastating complications, which may include kidney failure, blindness, heart disease, stroke, and amputation. |

Description:
Having fun at Jazz in the Valley, want to finish it off with a great run? Take part in the Iron Horse Half Marathon or 10K. The Half Marathon is a two loop course that includes a couple of miles on the historic John-Wayne (Iron Horse State Park) Trail, through the quiet grasslands neighborhood, up a short-climb to the water tower and then back down past the fairgrounds to begin the second loop. The 10K is mainly the same, but you head out directly to the John-Wayne trail, through the neighborhoods, up the short hill (but you only have to do this once) and return to the fairgrounds.

This is the base price and does not include sales tax or the online registration fee.
- BuDu Racing, LLC will allow a refund up to one month prior to the event (the online registration fee is not refundable).
- Up to two weeks prior to the event, a transfer to another BuDu Racing, LLC event is allowed, but NO refunds. There will be a $5 fee that the participant will be responsible for when transferring to another event.
- The week of the event, there are NO refunds or transfers.

Event Information

- Age Groups: under 19, 20-39, 40-59, 60 & over
- No headsets are allowed on course.
Early in the week prior to the event, you should receive a confirmation email that lists your bib number and registration information. You are strongly encouraged, but not required, to pick-up your packet on Friday or Saturday.
Packet Pick-Up :
Friday: 2 pm to 6 pm (At Mountain High Sports, 105 East 4th Avenue, Ellensburg, WA)
Saturday: 2 pm to 5:30 pm (At Mountain High Sports)
Sunday: 8:30 am to 9:15 am (At Kittitas County Fairgrounds Ellensburg)
Start Time:
Half Marathon: 9:30am (6th Ave and Poplar)
10K: 9:50am (Parking lot beyond Whisky Dick Transition Area)
Course Closure:
You must be able to complete the course within 1:30pm.
BuDu Racing, LLC is pleased to announce that participants receive an event shirt (logo will be posted soon). Shirts will not be available after July 16th. We may have a small supply of shirts available on event day, on a first come first serve basis. These shirts are printed by Shirtworks, in Ellensburg.
